Biography

Alexandra Meeks is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in estate planning and family law. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, where she was honored with membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Alex went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law in 2007. She practiced law in New York City before relocating “home” to Maryland in 2019.

Since embarking on her legal career, Alex has dedicated herself to providing compassionate and effective representation for her clients. With over seventeen years of experience, she has successfully litigated numerous family law and estate matters, helping families navigate complex legal landscapes with confidence and clarity.

Community Involvement

Alex is an active member of the community and currently serves as the section counsel for the Maryland State Bar Association Elder Law and Disability Rights Section, as well as on the board of the Howard County Women’s Bar Association, Howard County Business Women’s Network, and the Columbia Housing Center.

Personal Interests

Most of her personal time is spent shuttling her three kids (one in elementary, one in middle, and one in high school) to school and their various activities.
